Everyone realizes how valuable WordPress has become to the blogging community especially those of us who earn our livings on line through affiliate marketing. What could be simpler? Install a blog. Fill it with valuable, useful information that bring visitors. Then monetize your site with affiliate ads and products.

One of the favorite affiliate programs is the Google Adsense program. It is easy to join and you can easily log into your affiliate account and copy ads of different sizes and shapes and place these on your blog. When a visitor clicks on one or the ads you make a commission whether that person makes a purchase or not. Could not be easier.

However there is a catch. While getting the code for the ads from Google is very simple, placing those ads in prominent positions throughout your site can be very troublesome with different themes. Want you ad at the top of posts. Well you have to either rework the theme CSS code which is not a friendly task for many marketers, or place the code in each post you make.

However there is a very neat and free method to place those ads exactly where you want them awhen you want them there with just a few minor adjustments. This simple system is called Max Banner Ads and is a free plugin from the Max Blog folks and is a terrific tool. Just install the plug in and then with a few mouse clicks add zones into which you paste the Adsense code and like magic your ads will appear exactly where you want them on pages or posts or even in the sidebar. You can even automatically rotate ads with this plugin.

But you are not limited to Adsense. You can place anything in these ads from banners to text links to images or anything that will help you earn commissions. Don’t waste another hour fooling around with all the tasking usually necessary to monetize your blog.
